Jan Gilvan married Monte
Allwein (another Alumni). Jan and 
Monte have two children. Their names 
are August (Augie), and Michelle.

Jan recently graduated from the 
UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS @ Austin  
in August 2003 with a degree 
in fine arts, education. Jan is 
currently working on certification 
for biology.  Jan intends to teach 
art grades (K-12) and secondary biology.  

Jan her husband Monte are planning a
return back to Amarillo this Spring 
2004 to apply for teaching positions 
with AISD.  We live in Copperas 
Cove, Texas, which is about eleven 
miles West of Killeen (Fort Hood, 
Texas - the largest Military 
Instillation in the World!).  
Killeen is about 80 miles North of 
Austin.
